It's Tango, Jim, but not as we know it . . . . La Revancha Del Tango ("Tango's Revenge)" was the second album from Gotan Project, released in 2001. This fusion of traditional tango music with electronica and dance beats was explored in this article, written when their album Tango 3.0 came out.
Here are two songs from the album. Santa Maria (del Buen Ayre) was featured in the 2004 film Shall We Dance.
