As Ellen Kohlhaas remarks in her notes (see below) to this recording, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach's flute concertos are a landmark along the road from high Baroque to Classical and even the Romantic era - forward looking in a way his father Johann Sebastian wasn't.
CPE's D minor flute concerto was posted here a while ago, though not in a "historically informed performance" like this one from Archive, but in a 1964 recording from Jean-Pierre Rampal and Pierre Boulez.
