Czech-born Austrian pianist Alfred Brendel died on 17th June 2025 aged 94.
Here is his 1979 recording of Mozart's Piano Concerto No.14 K.449 made for Philips, a company (now part of Universal under their Decca imprint) with which he had a long and very productive association. This page is Decca's appreciation of Brendel.
