Florian Schneider, co-founder of the tremendously influential German band Kraftwerk died last Wednesday.
Like many others in the UK, it was the 1978 album The Man Machine that caught my attention, and especially the single The Model, which on a re-release topped the UK singles chart early in 1982, and spent 21 weeks in the top 75.
