The Alan Parsons Project - If I Could Change Your Mind

Eve was the fourth studio album from the Alan Parsons Project, released in 1979. Like most of the 'Project albums, this one was themed too - "It was originally intended to be an album inspired by great women in history. It evolved into an appreciation of the strengths and characteristics of women in general and the problems they face in the world of men." (from the APP website).

The vocalist on If I Could Change Your Mind was Lesley Duncan - a singer-songwriter who never had the solo success her songs deserved (she suffered from stage fright), but who worked with Elton John, and was in demand as a session singer - most notably with Dusty Springfield, Donovan, Ringo Starr, and Pink Floyd (on Dark Side Of The Moon - engineered by Alan Parsons). Lesley Duncan's contribution to Eve was her final album appearance, and after marriage to record producer Tony Cox, she moved to Scotland and retired from the limelight. She died in 2010 aged 66.
My other posts of Alan Parsons' (and related) music can be found here.
