Back in 2018, when I replaced my PTP Solid12 Lenco based idler-wheel turntable with the current Garrard 301 based CTC Classic 301 the first album I posted with the new turntable was Gard du Nord's Rendezvous 8:02. The great recording of jazzy downtempo music seemed like a good way introduce the new turntable.
Tracks from Rendezvous 8:02 appeared on a 2018 compilation album - Fresh From The Can. Side 4 of this double album included tracks from the 2009 album Love For Lunch - and three of these are represented here - Dish Of The Day, Come To The Ball, and Summertime.
