Hoddinott - Landcapes


The music of Alun Hoddinott has been featured here before, with his Second Piano Concerto, and Variants for Orchestra,  

This time we have Landscapes - a piece from 1975 inspired by the poem "Snowdon" (Eryri) from Welsh poet T.H. Parry Williams. The passages from the poem that Hoddinott based the work on are quoted on the album sleeve (click on the image below), where further details of the work are given,
