Brahms - Symphony No.1

 
Here is a 1962 recording of Johannes Brahms' 1st Symphony from German conductor Franz Konwitschny (1901-1962). 

This review of Berlin Classics CD-reissues starts with a useful appreciation of Konwitschny.
