The 82nd Vienna Philharmonic Ball takes place in the Musikverein on January 23rd 2025, and this record, dating from 1960, presents a selection of music typically played at the event.
The Strauss brothers Johann II, and Josef carried on where their father Johann I left off in producing the archetypical Austrian light music of waltzes and other dance music.
