The Suite Española by Catalan composer Isaac Albéniz (1860-1909) is most commonly heard played on the guitar rather than in the original piano version. But here we have an orchestration of seven of the eight pieces from the suite - plus Cordoba from Op.232 - by Spanish conductor Rafael Frühbeck De Burgos who directs the New Philharmonia Orchestra in this 1968 Decca recording.
